    Wiring Help Needed

I've been a member for a couple of months now and Love this board. I've found alot of useful topics already. Anyway here's my probelm. I recently bought a 81 Skeeter Wrangler for a very good price. But,the old former owner had some try to rewire the boat. All they did was totaly screw up the wiring. My question is,can I buy a new fuse panel (with ground bar) and rerun all the items to the panel, then run my hot and ground to the battery? I'm also replacing all the switches just to be sure. The bilge and both livewell pumps are brand new. But when I hooke everything up nothing works. It's ben quite a long time since I did any wiring on a boat. I really could use some advise on this. Thanks Gary

I am in the process of doing the same thing right now. I found some good info searching under the electronics page on IBoats.com and found the best place for wire and all the other stuff to be bestboatwire.com
I will let you know how mine turns out but is going to be a couple weeks before I get it done.

Wiring is complete. The fuse panel was bad as was all the switches. I replaced everything and it all works great, just as it should. All that is left to replace is the fuel line and filter. I will be doing that this weekend. Thanks again for the advise. Great Fishing-Gary
