    Bob Insurance questions.

i have an old boat 1989 Bass Cat that has a 98 Merc 200 EFI.
wondering about a few things if you can help...i havent got to use the boat any yet and just put liability insurance on it since the boat is paid for free and clear....but im wondering if im better off goin with full covrage that would at least get me another boat if something happens to this one.

also will an insurance policy cover the motor as well if the motor blows for some reason.

and can you rate in Missouri

    Re: Bob Insurance questions. (Luke)

Luke, I would reccomend you getting your boat covered. It is great that you have liability and if you can afford a hit and have the cash to replace your boat that is your call. If your engine blows up, It would depend on why it blew. If you were to get in mud and your intake were to to get blocked and not allow water to cool your engine that is something that should be covered. I have been able to help a lot of the members here better understand Marine insurance. I give my clients an education on how all the coverage's work. I would be happy to help you decide what your needs are. Feel free to give me a call. Thanks Bob Luellen
