Now updates since last September??? Fishing down here in southeastern wisconsin is starting livin' up. I'm fishing in my first W.A.B.T.A tourny this weekend on Okauchee and think there will be qiute a few fish caught. I've been on the lake three times since last friday and caught some pretty nice fish. I'd post a few pictures but it's pretty easy to locate the areas of the lake. I've seen a lot of other boats "scouting" too. I can't wait for Sunday should be a blast.

Not many of us yankee's on this board I'm afraid. I'll be at Okauchee on Sunday as well. Prefished yesterday and did pretty well, but no kicker fish. Our best six would have went 13 to 14#. Mostly largemouth but did catch 2 smallies when we went looking for them.

Well, the weather got to us on Sunday. The strong winds and drop in temp made our preferred presentation almost impossible. We were able to scrape together 8 keepers but missed a check by .52 pounds. Caught one on a topwater, 2 on crankbaits, 2 on jigs, and 3 on worms. Fished about a dozen spots all over the lake.

Yeah........My first wabta was not one to remember. Tried to drop shot off breezy point and crazy mans weather wouldn't let us. Jigged quite a bit over the flats outside the river. Ran some cranks over the rocks leading into ice house too. When all was said and done worms in stumpy and around crazy mans was where we picked up our fish. Just over 10 pounds buy my scale in the boat. We didn't bother weighing in.

Good luck!! I have only been out a few times this year. I have been working on the hunting land way too much on weekends...vs. fishing. That should change soon.

I have chased a few Muskies with my son...hit little Green Lake a few times. Had some follows, but no fish.

I heard that the Paulys who won were drop shotting off Breezy? Didn't see them all day but we spent most of our day on the north flat. We also fished Ice House as we had them going pretty good in practice.
