I'm supposed to go up to Lake Fairview April 10 and spend a few days with a group of guys for a mini type tournament. There is a group of about 75 or 80 of us that meet at Toledo Bend every September. This past September was my first time and they SMOKED me. So a select few are going to Lake Fairview. They invited me.
Does anybody have any ideas about what kind of bait and where to fish Lake Fairview? I've heard that tubes, watermelon green and crawfish colors are good, but I've never been there. Anything I should look for or know?
Also at Toledo Bend we're at the North end around Huxley Bay on the Texas side. They were using Gary Yamamoto white worms last year in the back of the creeks. Any ideas on this as well?![]()
