    Choke Canyon 5/12-5/14

I fished from noon to 1800 Fri. evening, all day Sat., and 0630-1000 Sun. I fished the Four fingers area, the South shore line around the park, and the three fingers area a little.
The water temp was abot 76-80 degrees. The wind was out of the South.
The water clarity was about 4ft.
I caught most of my fish on a lipless crankbait. I caught some on a T-rig, a couple on a C-rig, and a few on a jig.
Most of the fish I caught were in about 6-10ft of water in or around grass beds.

Here's my biggest from day one:

    And Day two:

I'd like to thank Josh for netting that one, and taking the pic. We had a good time, and caught some good fish. I can't wait to go back!

All I can say is you suck.....I wish I was you!! You get to fish more in a month than I do in a year. I'm still dying to get to Texana and check it out. But with my busy schedule it is going to be the first part of June.

    Awesome fish!!

It was definitly an awesome trip. I wanted to go back yesterday morning, but I ended up falling asleep at 10 pm or so and didnt wake back up until 11 sunday morning. I also dont think I could have taken another day out in the sun that soon.

There will be a tournament there on June 3rd. I suggest you not show up that day. The lake will be packed. I should be living in San Antonio by then, so I may not get to give you a guided tour. It's not hard to figure out. Just stay in the middle, and cast at the bank.

    Hey Josh,
It was really cloudy Sun. morning. I caught a couple 2 lbers. within the first 10 min. I left around 1000. The sun started to come out and the wind died down. I didn't want to go through that again. That was terrible.
