I have a club tourney the third weekend of this month. I have never been on the lake, we were suppose to fish Stillhouse. Can't do that due the lake being closed, but that's OK, I've never been on that lake either.
I heard this morning that Corpus has already gotten 5" of rain with more coming. Any suggestions on Choke? I may be able to pre-fish on Thursday July 19 if someone wants to go with me and show me all their big fish holes.

The 4 fingers area has been good to me. It's on the N. Shoreline. I would fish the grass beds in 8-12ft. of water. The pond dams in 15-20ft. are usually good too this time of year.

I was just down there a couple weeks ago. Hung a couple of good ones, and a lot of small keepers. We fished out of Mason Point boat ramp, which is a couple miles west of the Caliham unit. It's a good cove, and there are a few good coves on west from there, they all have grass. Email me and I'll help you all I can.
Your fishing spots will depend on the wind...if the wind comes up that lake gets rough!
