When i trim up the motor to fish shallow water it slowly leaks down. And when i'm running down the lake i have to bump up the trim because of the same problem. Any suggestions

Check your fluid level. I had one at one time that did that and it was a little low on fluid. Then run it all the way up and down a few times to get the air out I think. Either on the Merc or the Rudes there is a screw that alows you to manuel release the trim. if this has worked a little loose it will do this. One of the Rude guys can tell you about that. There may be some more things like this to try before you go to dealer.
There alsp may be a way to bleed these using this relase screw.
check the screw on the side that lets it down if its just a little lose or has a bad seal it will do this,i worked on mine for months before I opened it up and closed it a few times an bleed it and ran a bunch of fluid threw it but it hasn't leaked down in months
