I have a 1998 Ficht 150 model number J150ILECR. The tach started jumping around even when the RPM/throttle remains constant. I assumed it was a bad tach because I could tap on the tach and it seemed the problem would go away for a short time. The tach has been replaced, but the problem still exists. I have the service manual and it appears that the tach signal comes from the ECU on the Ficht engines. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks![]()
