Took today off from work and went to Long Pond in Henniker.
Got there at 1130, only one on the pond. Wound up with five nice pigs on a frog. (Frogs and Hogs Mac!!!). Caught a 3.4 pound largie on a Fluke. Also caught a 25 inch shark. Was a great day.
Then again like I always say "Never had a bad day fishing"

you couldn't have picked a better day. I was thinking about doing it on Friday but I really don't know what kind of a day I'm going to have with all the running around I need to do. Definitely going to hit the water on Sunday.
Russ, I thought they had " privatized " the launch at Long Pond ? Used to catch some quality fish there. Glad to hear you got in and had a good day

It does say private drive, but been going there for two years and thankfully not a problem yet!!
