Went out today. the ramp on Massasseecum was frozen in and really wasn't up for a ride to Winni. Went to the Merrimac and we caught a couple. Tried fishing in the deeps but the wind and current kept spinning us around. Not a very productive day for 6 hours of casting. Thinking about trying again tomorrow but I don't know where to go that isn't frozen in and under an hours drive from me. Might have one more weekend left in me. The boat handled real nice. I did get a chance to open it up for a short while and for a December day it was beautiful.

think Ill get the small boat out today then Ill try Nashua River or Potanapo next sat

I went to the Bow section. Tried fishing the popular spot but saw a meat chucker and decided to head up river. Fished a section below the dam about 200yds. The current was swift. Had the trolling motor at 100% just to stay stationary. Took the boat to the carwash today and got all the road salt off. What a mess that was. I might get out one more time next weekend(I hope anyway. It being Christmas and all it may be hard to find someone who isn't a last minute shopper.
