Went out right after work. Fished from aby 0345 till about 0900. Whacked till the sun came up then only got a few after that. Caught 1 in the the 3 lb range. All others were 2 lb or less. Ended up with 25-30

I never try the before sun up stuff. I may have too. It's awful early this time of year to try and beat the sun up in the morning.
Its not that bad really if you dont get off of work until 3 AM... LOL!!

So you are having good success at 3AM as well there "tough" guy?
not quite 3......but I've been on wagontrain at 4 and 5 am before......unless I go night fishing then its a whole nother ball game
most times if I go to burchard or Mozingo i try and go & be ther by 5am....most times its 6 but only because I'm behind for some reason
I try to be on Beaver by 530 or so, but it is close. I may give 3AM a shot one morning and see how that goes. If I get up.
NOt too often........I've bben know to come home from work....eat....and go to bed right away and get up at midnight to go fishing........then go to work at pick up some B-fast on way in
