Fished from about 0330 till 0730. Caught 6. All 6 on spinnerbaits. Nothing over 1.5. Tried plastics etc.... nothing

its starting to be a typical summer around here

u sually I do pretty well during the summer. This year hasnt been that great tho. I usually dont catch as many but usually get some really nice ones. Wondering if these storms have anything to do with it. Havent been out as much lately tho as I usually am. Lot of stuff goin on

could be.....all I know is its about a 50/50 wash anymore......there are days I can catch them and days I can't..............last summer(Aug) I was at Burchard and used nothing but senko and shakey head and caught the hell out of them......landed around 18-20 fish that day and largest around 4.5-5 pounds on a crank

this year I havnt gone out as much either and havnt caught as many at the same rate

same here. Sounds like Russ is running into the same scenario thou hes fishin for CARP!!!!!

My boat should run like a scalded ape now that I've reduced my tackle to size 4 and size 2 circle hooks and Del Monte whole kernal corn!! Wonder what I should put in the other storage areas?

Actually the boat is back and ready to go in the morning. Even if I don't catch anything it'll be better than carp duty. 3-weeks without the boat sure seemed like a looooong time.
