This is for 6-23 but mot much has changed, its still kinda slow with only a few over 6lbs caught in the last couple tournaments

Water temp, 69-74 -- Water clarity, stained 2 to 4ft visibility.

This last week I have been fishing the Red Bud and Rattlesnake arms to the Narrows.

The fishing has improved in the last few days and I'm catching some nice fish from 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds on soft plastics, Jigs and frogs, and my friend Cody got a nice one on a crank bait and he got a 20 pound catfish on a split-shot.

I have been pitching the shallow cover, and fishing the Swimbait in the weeds. There is some action on the offshore rock piles that will improve when the bait starts to move around.

Tips, slow down, make accurate casts and fish every piece of cover thoroughly. Best colors for me have been green pumpkin, purple and black. For the Swimbait I have been fishing the Hippo Tackle 5" Shad or Hitch color with a 3/8th oz weighted hook to get it into the thick weeds.
