Lake level in SWEPCO is still way down..........very strange with all the rain and snow in the area the last couple of weeks.
SkeeterJay told me that he had heard a rumor that there might be a problem with the dam. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
BTW, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has set aside $15,000 for ramp and parking improvements for the lake.........that they get to it soon, the ramp is a disaster.........

saw that, did you notice how skinney the fish was in the picture?? From what I have heard they are all like that right now from overpopulation. I hope the Game and Fish's new limits that went into affect this year will allow some of the fish to be taken out. Would be nice if that got to be a good trophy lake for winter time fishing
We took 27 (I think) out of SWEPCO a few weekends ago. I am hoping that the G&F keeps a good eye on the population. Don't want to deplete it too much.

the fish in that article was extremly poor looking and yes they all look like that. they are starved to death atm. it has gone way down hill over the last few years. i can tell just by looking at the pics i have from over the past few years of fishing out there. the game and fish did a horrible job of maintaning the lake imo and have needed to do something about that ramp for a long freakin time. bout time they used our tax money for something.
