    Help filling the gap

I have a number of Shimano rods which I'm thinning out to make space for Dobyns. My question is which Dobyns casting rod do I get next?

Currently I have the following Dobyns
    Champion 804
    Champion 705CB Glass Fast
    Champion 733
    Champion 735
    Champion Extreme 742

So that's a deep cranking rod, a shallow cranking rod, spinnerbait/senko rod, light flipping/frog rod and a finesse worm rod. My budget will probably only allow "standard" Champion series rod.

    Any ideas are welcome

I would reccomend a 704CB. This would be a good rod for smaller crankbaits, jerkbaits, and topwaters (poppers/propbaits).

704cb is a great rod for jerkbaits, poppers, and squarebills....don't be afraid of the Savvy line of rods to fill up some of your line up.

YES...flip stick and frogs in that stick. One of, if not the best for both in the Champ line. Buy without hesitation.

But, the question is....do you want something for heavier flip/frog work or something in a true casting application.

704 would be a great choice if thats what direction you want to go.

Whatever rods you decide to go with I would get them from The Tackle Trap. You won't find better prices and customer service. Send waketowake33 or bronzefly an IM
