Welcome to the BBC, check with your local BRP dealer on prices. You may be better off to stay with a BRP control box, and save some money also.
The BRP control is $350 and Teleflex is $250. Would a Teleflex work if I did get it.

better to stick with OEM, you save money going aftermarket, but you get what you pay for.

Check the motor parts for sale page farther down on the main board you may find a used one there. Yes as long as it says compatible with OMC/BRP products it will work. I just use OEM gear and try and avoid aftermarket at all cost. Not saying aftermarket is bad just a personal choice.
