I have a All Star spinning rod that has a tennessee cork handle on it. The cork is old and ruined. I am going to order a new tennessee cork handle piece. I want to cut off the old and add on the new cork. I have a a couple of questions. The rod blank diameter is .500. The inner hole in the new cork is .260. Would you take a .5" long drill bit and drill out the 10" long cork handle? I know thats sounds dumb but those are the dimensions. The other question is what glue should I use to glue the cork handle on with? Thanks
