Couple questions on painting baits.

Does the krylon base coat only come in spray cans or are you spraying the krylon on with airbrushes? I was also wondering what everyone is using to lay down the scale patterns on your crankbaits? Thanks.

Minnow net for the scales.

I use the krylon out of the spray can. You can get a minnow dip net for getting minnows out of minnow buckets and cut them up, stretch them around bait and spray bait, blow dry w/hair drier, then remove net.
