    Best Rod Blank

What is the best rod blank for fishing for smallmouth. I will be using light line, light jigs, and a spinning rod. I will also want to make a rod for a baitcaster. I like the All Pro APX series of rods made here in Tennessee, but they don't sell blanks or at least not that I have found. Anyone, have any suggestions?

Contact Bob at Custom Tackle in Shelbyville. He probably has the perfect blank for your needs and he is always willing to take the time to help. You could just drive over and put you hands on as many blanks as you want.

I would also check out the Castaway XP3 blanks from Swampland. Very good blanks for the money and the customer service is second to none.
I just ordered an 842 for finesse/light line fishing. It is worth giving Lance a call because he often has more stuff than is listed on his website.
