I want to start painting my worm weights. What colors do I need for, let's say, watermelon seed?

Uhhhhh, is this a trick question? I'd say watermelon.

Seriously, though, if you're looking for regular spray paint, just take a lure with the color you're looking for to the hardware or paint store and they'll be able to match it up. FWIW, the only way I've ever gotten regular spray paint to hold up more than just a couple of casts is to apply a coat of regular epoxy over the paint. You can even add a little glitter to the epoxy for a truly custom color if you'd like.
Sorry about the STUPID question. I really didn't know they made a paint called watermelon. But, thanks anyway.
It was NOT a stupid question! My answer was a bumbling attempt at humor which was, in retrospect, totally inappropriate. I truly apologize.![]()
No, need to apologize. I guess I read too much into it. I am the one that should apologize.
Powder coating is an option-available in lots of colors. Toothpicks in the ends make them easy to handle when hot-keeps holes from plugging. Better adhesion than paint.
