    Fall fishing in Wisconsin

I have never fished much in the fall. Usually Bow hunting takes priority but, the hunting is terrible right now so I thought that I would do some fishing.
Most of the lakes that I fish are shallow with weeds and some submerged wood.
We have had allot of rain lately so the water is high.
The average water temp righ now is is around 59 degrees f.
Air temp is in the upper 50's to low 60's.
What should I look for to find the fish this time of year?
What type of baits would be most productive?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Fall fishing in Wisconsin (375DC)

    Kurt,
I am north of you near Eagle River. I have been catching some real nice largemouths..Rocks are good right now..Cranks or spinnerbaits have been hot. One 20 incher on a buzzbait the other day. With this cooler weather the smallies should turn on. Best of luck.

    Ps try that submerged wood!
