Looking for info on Smith Montain Lke accomodations...

We're starting to make plans for a late winter trip to Vurginia. Last time we went down we fished the week on Lake Anna and stayed at the Highpoint Marina/Motel. It was a great trip and everything was right there, marina, motel, store & gas.
We were thinking about doing something similar on Smith Mountain Lake this winter/spring. Anyone have suggestions on a good motel near a launch? I did read a couple months back one of the BBC members had a camp for rent, unfortunately I lost track of the topic.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Sandra and I stayed here, at Mariner's Landing last fall for a weekend. Very nice place.

The state park rents cabins and there is a launch in the park. Cabins are very nice and some are on the water.
