    6 man football

We'll my FIL (best ever) is just ate up with football as usual.

We go to Garden City(#3) and watch most of there home games.
( he went to school there)

This year they have a really good team so we've been traveling quite a bit.

Went toTrent and saw them beat Crowell 86-56.

Last Fri. we traveled to Merkell and watched them play the #1 team in the state Throckmorton, which was an awsome game they won 84-80 scoring a td with just over a minute to play.

This week they are #1 and we are traveling to Plainview...I cant remember the name of the town they are playing.....Fellows or something like that.

    Go Bearcats!!

Congratulations to the team, those scores sound more like Basketball than football. I know 6 man is all about scoring.

Follett is probably who it is. Another top team in the state. You will have to score 80+ to beat them too. Fun games to watch.

6 Man is a blast to watch. When we first moved to the lake the school up the road(Panther Creek) won state 2 years in a row so we watched a lot of 6man. Kind of reminds me of a covey of quail busting when they snap the ball.

All I have to say is if they beat Throckmorton and put 88 on them. They can put 80 on anyboby. Throckmorton has (had) a heck of a team. Hope they go all the way for your FIL. Them GC boy can play some round ball too.....

My nephew is the coach at Throckmorton. He was at Rule for several years and made it to the State game the last 2 years, but couldn't beat Richland Springs. He moved to Throckmorton this year and probably thought he was going all the way especially since he beat Garden City the first game this year. I haven't talked to him, but I'll bet he's not a happy camper right now.

Watched Richland Springs beat Rule the first year they met. A good game but the RS qb was a one man team. No stopping him.

    Re: 6 man football (WB)

I listened to the second game on the radio, streamed off the internet. All they could talk about was Tyler Etheridge and how they couldn't believe no college had offered him a scholarship. Nothing like listening to a couple of local yokel homers who think they are covering the super bowl.
