any one fish brandy branch lately. Thinking about hitting the lake before christmas for the frst time looking for any pointers and what to look out for far as running the lake. any info would be useful thanks

Lake is fairly open until you get way down on cold water side with the exception of all the wooded area in front of ramp. Water should be crystal clear. I haven't been in a while but small green finesse worms worked well for me since you can see the fish swimming around in some areas. Fish the whole lake, it won't take long.
The boat ramp is awful unless it has been repaired and that I doubt. At one time thieves were plentiful, lots of vehicles broken into.
