Leesylvania State park

My Uncle and I are heading up to fish the Potomac Next Friday. We figured we would make the two hr drive the night before and sleep in the back of the truck Thursday night. I know they allow overnight boating on the weekends (info from website) but will anyone up there throw a fit if we do that. Or does anyone else have another option?

The have a camp ground too, so bring a tent and a sleeping bag with you. It sure beats sleeping in a truck.

I called them, they said they only have campsites for Groups, Boyscouts ect... ? Didn't make a lot of sense to me. And also not allowed to sleep at the ramp in the truck. But can launch for overnight boating, sleep on boat, then stay parked there all the next day. 11.00 for overnight boating, and 5.00 for Day lauch fee's cause I will be parked there... Think I'll drive down in the morning.
