not gibson, flodded worse than grand!!
I don't have one unfortunately, but the mail man brought in a picture this morning of a 4lb 5oz black crappie he caught out of a Pontotoc County watershed lake last week. That is just 5oz shy of the state record. Never seen a crappie that big. When I saw the picture I thought at first it was a bass. He was bass fishing at the time and caught him on a senko.
sooner fish

I caught a 4lb 3 oz when I was about 19 in Dardanelle.....ate it without thinking about mounting it because they are huge down there.
I hooked one year before last that got off at the boat, my son seen it and it's mouth was about 4" open, biggest crappie I ever seen pictures or mounted, but it's only a fish story cause I never got him in the boat or on a scale. But in may 03 we filled a tailgate full and the shortest one was 11" and the two big ones were over 18".................15lbs of fillets.
I do have pictures of that if anybody wants to call BS....![]()
