Need lower unit for 92 Limited Edition 200

Besides the local dealer, anyone know who offers new or rebuilt lower units at affordable pricing?

I've got a short carrier case with a LWP (Bobs) and pinned carrier for sale. It is expensive though because it is the short carrier. It is 3/4" shorter than a standard case with a LWP. It also has a slightly different skeg profile.
    Less drag.

I can email pics. The price is $1200. Very expensive. But try finding a short carrier case in good condition that doesn't need rebuilt and then add the LWP and the carrier being pinned.

This is probably more than your looking for but if not give me a shout.

If mine isn't what your looking for someone on screamandfly had a regular case with LWP for I think $950, might have been $650. You'll have to check and see.

No problem Mike, I don't really want to let it go anyway, I just need the money.

He would have to change the shift shaft and maybe the drive shaft. Mine is for a crossflow.

Re: Need lower unit for 92 Limited Edition 200 (Garfish)

Hello Garfish, The only ratio available is the 1:86:1, unless you wanted to go lower, and you don't. Your alternative is to prop up, and sometimes different props of the same pitch can be a big difference. Just get a bunch that you think might get you in the ballpark and go have fun! We used to have a dealer here that would let you do that, but I'm not sure about your area, Good luck! Eddie

Re: Need lower unit for 92 Limited Edition 200 (gearcaseman)

Well so much for that, and I do thank you for that and I am already looking for 29 t+ or 30 raker, am able to do 73.4 at a dangerous 5900( whenI realized it and backed off) but it would have revved til it blew up,the new power head(15 hours maybe) is so strong. The pull is so seductive." Down Trigger", damn, got my nipples hard. There aren't any dealers around Atlanta that are going to let you "borrow " a prop, unless he's trying to sell you a boat, but I am so close I think I can buy , and have tweaked if necessary. I'm not looking to run much over 80, serious.
