Also, regarding step 19, it is essential to use "BRP Moly lube", or can I simply use general purpose waterproof marine grease like I use on the various zirc fittings and in the trailer wheel hubs? Probably a dumb question, but I don't have any Moly right now.

"19. Apply a small amount of BRP Moly lube to the drive shaft splines and slide gear case back into the midsection."
