    My new expensive toy!

As a salvage yard owner, I'm blessed with the job of unwanted pet disposal. Yep, there is something about a salvage yard that says...
"IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE VEGGIES TO DO WHAT'S NEEDED, DUMP IT HERE!"
    So, we have strays.
The dogs are easy enough to deal with.
The cats, however, different story. You just don't see them often, and when you do, they are moving FAST.
WELL, a few weeks ago, a new stray showed up, got inside the garage/storage area. BUT, wasn't like the others. Wasn't all scragly, skinny, ugly looking....It had that "please help me" look. So, it got some lunch leftovers.
An hour later, I'd have to watch where I stepped to keep from breaking my neck.
It followed me around like that for a week.
I then decided maybe it should stay INSIDE the office area. (Figured it was lucky to be alive considering it didn't look like it could defend itself from a large bunny rabbit)....and, it might help to keep mice at bay.
So, in it went...I gave it a bath, told it "pee or poop ONCE in the floor and you're outa here!". Apparently it understood, or, knew exactly what a litterbox was.

This being my 2nd cat EVER, I didn't have much to compare with.
The other cat lets us live with it in a house that used to be mine...most days.
This new cat is ever gratefull to have a place to stay.
The other cat might let you pet her head..IF..you have a treat in your other hand.
This new cat....There's not a spot on it's body that doesn't get scrubbed once you start.
The other cat...makes a really scary growling noise when you get close to it or say it's name.
This new cat...is the exact same color of everything in this building. If you can't find it, just listen...you can hear it purr from 10ft away most of the time.
The vet calls me to come get the other cat out of her cage so he can give her shots (they are scared to attempt it, even with gloves).
The vet called today, said my cat was all tuned up, and come get her. (shots/fixed/etc). Said it was the nicest cat he's ever seen.
BUT, he sure didn't reward me with a discount or anything. Seems I've gotten a really expensive new toy.

Well, so much for the mice, hope they don't kill my new "shop cat".
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

Been asking my wife if we could trade cats.
Every night, when I get home, I walk in the living room......only to find satan laying in my recliner.

I must have Satan's wife- my if my cat isn't sitting in my recliner, she's sitting on my computer desk chair.

Yep, this one will wriggle around on the floor, on her back, so to get optimum belly scratching time..like a dog.
The other cat? You'll need an Emergency Room visit if attempt to touch her belly.

I was just under the impression, all cats were basically pure evil, owned people, and were best if just left alone.
