    NMEA - Lowrance Net

I got an IM into Rusty, but he's unavailable.

Does anyone know if you can hook up the Lowrance net to the 225 ETEC HO? I'd like to get a Lowrance LMF-400 multi-function LCD gauge and put it on my dash in place of the speedo.

If you can hook up to the engine computer, does anyone know what Lowrance part I would use to attach it to the network? The network backbone will already be in the boat.

    thanks,
    Duane

Below is a link to the Lowrance LMF-400.

Yes you can hook your Etec to the Lowrance stuff. The adapter is a BRP part. I have the part# for the adapter at home for a 150 etec......I'll post it when I get home. Not sure if it's the same for a 225 but your dealer should be able to tell you.

Thanks! I appreciate if you forward me the part#. This is a huge head start.

This is the LMF-400 Lowrance gauge I want to use . .All I need to get started is the connector the engine. I assume the ETEC will already be setup to provide the NMEA 200 0 data.

    P/n 0763517 is the cable I bought. It's 15' long.
