I'm hoping someone has the info I need to get my 200HO Etec and I-command gauges communicating properly with my Lowrance LMS 337. I have had a problem for months and my dealer admits he doesn't have a clue. So I'm trying to get this corrected myself. Unfortunately, BRP tech support won't talk to me on technical issues - say I have to go through my dealer.
Through Lowrance support and the my own research, I now know that the interface between the Lowrancenet and the Evinrude NMEA 2000 consolidater hub is not wired correctly. The cable that leads from the consolidator hub to the Lowrancenet tee is there but I thnk that the terminator in the consolidator hub should be removed and a 120 ohm terminator added to the last Lowrancenet tee. Does that sound correct? Does anybody have a wiring diagram that addresses this?
On another note, I beleive that part of my problem might be incorrect wiring of the Evinrude Sensor Interface Module(SIM). The installation manual for the I command gauges shows the SIM connected to the network and to the fuel tank sending unit. My dealer has installed a Lowrance EP15 fuel level NMEA 2000 convertor from the fuel tank sending unit to the network, but has not conected the SIM wire to the fuel tank sending unit. Should both be connected to the sending unit? Or do I even need the EP15 if I have the SIM?
