Hey guys,
I need your opinions. I am currently looking for a new to me Skeeter, and have located a 20i that has a lot of potential. The 250 Series 2 has a new powerhead and lower unit that was replaced under warranty. Should a new lower unit and powerhead be of major concern for me?
Why does it have a new powerhead and a new lower unit. I thought the series 2 was suppose to be a tougher powerhead. Sounds like some serious problems. Does it still have warranty. If not i would not even entertain it.
Full warranty on the motor. Spoke to the owner, Yamaha mechanic was not sure why the powerhead went, but they replaced it with full warranty. I think I am going to stay clear, I just got rid of a lemon and don't want another one for a while.
