2006 250XS. Where are they? How do you get to them?
The reeds are mounted on the reed cages with small screws,the cages are bolted to the reed plate,located between the crankcase front half and the plenum,or air/box,the front of the motor that has the throttle body butterfly on top.Not difficult to access at all,in a relative sort of way,Chris

What is the difference or the advantage of the epoxy/glass vs. carbon fiber reeds ?
Aside from the fact that the Merc oem replacement reed set costs 545$ as compared to our 135$,in our testing,and that of many others the epoxy/glass is more flexable and seems to perform and last better than the carbon,Chris
