    Look at the cable drum, the plastic piece that the cables connect to. It slides down on top of the pinion.

    Mr. Jones, this happened to me on my last trip. My son was up front and put the cable back, but I want to fix this. What do I look for with the "cable drum" to assess the problem and prevent a re-occurrence ? Is something broken which is allowing the cable to come loose ? My TM is a 24 v Tour 70+ lb thrust.
