2010 250HP Mercury Pro XS Torque Master

I just bought a 2010 bassboat with a 250hp Merc Pro XS. It came with a Torque Master and I'm looking to trade my Torque Master for a Sportsmaster 1.62 or 1.75.

My Torquemaster is in great condition, your sportsmaster should be too. This is very new, less than 11hrs, I owned it for less than 2 months now.

Don't feel bad. A lot of boats are slow.

You may be hard pressed to find someone willing to swap even - your TM for a Sporty, JMO.

It may help if you post some pics, and list what gears are in the TM.

TM are good lower units and are the proper choice for many bassboats. May I ask what boat you are running ?

Also try listing it in the Motor for sale section, and motor parts.

He just picked up a new Allison XB 21 2+2. The dealer in Tenn. Should have sold him the boat with a sporty from the beginning.

    Your 250 ProXS-TM gearcase would be a 1.75:1 ratio.

    Torquemaster, 1.75:1, 20" Shaft.

I understand its a tough deal but I'm willing to negotiate something.

Have you thought about having it coned? Done by the right person it'd be faster than a sporty....
