French's for a cooking binder, there are better mustards for a side.

Walmart brand is usually as good as other brands!

Being of German descent, I'm kind of a mustard geek. Please allow me to bore you.

    1) Standard run of the mill wieners, dogs, etc. French's or Plochmans is good. These are mustards add the right amount of tang.
    2) Brats, polish, frankfurters, knockwurst, etc. These need a good quality mustard like duseldorff, stone ground, or mustard seed.
    3) Sandwiches all get stone ground or similar to Grey Poupon.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I like yellow and some browns, but homemade hot pepper mustard is the best. Haven’t made/canned any in a few years. I need to make some in the near future.

Our favorite - Cherchies Champagne Brand Mustard. You can buy it on Amazon. It is a sweet mustard.

I have no problem with the occasional French's or Heinz, but man any Dijon smell ranks up there with the rank rancidness of jalapeno. No thank you. You either love it or hate it.

I love mustard but when it comes to just plain old yellow mustard I don’t see how anyone can tell the difference in brands.
