I am looking for a spinning rod blank to give to the AOY of my youth club.
I am looking for spinning rod blank 6'8"-7' M action. looking or something to throw a drop shot and finesse baits on. I want it to have a nice tip with some back bone also. What blank do I need to look at.

Batson ISB822.5. Very nice finesse/dropshot blank, won't break the bank either. A step up would be the XSB822.5 or St. Croix 3C69MLXF

I second Scott's suggestions
One other blank to look at is the Castaway XP3 842 (Swampland)
I built on that blank for a finesse jig/plastics rod and I really like mine, maybe even more so than my two ISB822.5's (also finesse builds)
