Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
I use both Devcon 2ton and E-Tex and although both are good I keep thinking there might be something better. D2t is brittle and tends to chip off when it contact a hard surface(rock) during the cast. E-tex usually requires at least two coats to get a build up that I like. On some of my larger baits I use d2t as a first coat then a coat of E-tex, this combination seems to work fairly well. Have been thinking of trying Dick Nites top coat over the epoxy as a finish coat, just have not got around to it yet.
...I use D2T and thin it with acetone to taste...I like two coats of a thinner D2T mix better than one coat of straight D2T...FYI...Two coats of uncut D2T will sink a 78 Pointer...

I also like Dick Nites but still use etex and devcon at times
1 coat of devcon is enough for most bass cranks
2 coats of etex
Just my .02
Today I put 30 min. epoxy on baits painted with Createx---they look awfull. The epoxy puddled up into thick and thin places --no bubbles. the epoxy acted like water on a newly waxed car--puddled up. I repeadly rebrushed it --trying to get it to lay down but no luck. Thinned it with acetone.
