Hamlin is good at it....he crowds you, runs you out of room, and you hit the wall. He ran into Larson at Kansas and made him hit the wall for the win. Denny is a big whiner...he can do it to you, but hell you better not touch him. It definenately appeared Chase hooked him on purpose. Back in the day it would have been let go...and the hook'ee sure didn't mess with the hook'er anymore. Nascar set a precedent with the last suspension so not surprised it was handed to Chase as well.
The same thing happened probably 100 other times to other drivers in that race. A few scraped the wall and kept going. Maybe Chase isn't as good of a driver that all of his worshipers thinks he is. As for me, it wouldn't bother me at all if the 9 and the 11 took each other out every race.![]()
No I didn't miss it. Read my post #33. I raced for several years back in the day so my idea of putting someone in the wall might be different than yours. In my opinion if you don't touch them with your car then it's just hard racing. The 11 never touched the 9 right before Chase bounced off the wall. Btw, my son's racing was ended by another car hooking him in the right rear sending him head on into the wall. He barrel rolled 6 times. That's a no no regardless of what level you race at.
