I like to watching them fish the Sabine for how they fish it. But after so long I get bored of watching them cull a 15 ounce fish for a 1-1.

I don’t know if you got any rain this weekend but we’ve been terribly dry until last night and we got 2.7”.

This tourney has always been a good watch. Call it what you will, dink fest, etc, cool place and lots of fish ketches.

Yeah it’s been horrible here in Augusta county. Finally got some much needed rain last night and all day today. It rained out my golf tournament but we needed it so I ain’t complaining.

My brother and his wife left their place at Smith early yesterday bc it was raining so bad.

2 second places came from the long run over to here in clear creek. Wonder if anyone makes the run again?

He top 10’d the last one there. Definitely fits the way he likes to fish.

He claims he isn’t practicing for this event and just gonna show up and win.

Big brain move. Now he “won’t have time” to ask the TD if the spot he’s fishing is off limits.

I’m in Louisiana but I have never fished that river system…. I’m on the opposite side of the state….

I love following when they fish there… I can’t stand to watch, or really, I don’t watch when them cats sit there drop shotting watching the machine….

I’m betting money people will be running upriver more than over towards Houston… Christie won upriver, surely that opened some eyes….

I saw a few Elites launching their rigs today for practice. River looks good right now, not a bunch of run off, just normal tides.

No offense to the Sabine River but it saddens me every time BASS visits and the Louisiana side of off limits. As someone from southern Louisiana that has fished a majority of the marsh below highway 90, I know how great the fishing is. Sucks that the state is in a position that major tournaments won’t fish its tidal fisheries.
