    Huntsville State Park

    I heard there are some big bass in there. Anybody ever been? I read you can launch a boat there, but you have to stay at idle.

    You might check out the website before making a trip over there, it shows that beginning in June it was slated to be undergoing some renovation.

    That would be Lake Raven. $4 entry last I was down that way. Haven't fished there yet, seen some youtube videos from there. I know there's a big gator rumor about the place. We're planning to hit it soon as well...

    never been to Raven but I thought it was electric motor only and prime time is April - May with topwaters. Lot of lilypads, cattails and gators.

    It says on the website no hp limit, but must idle.

    lake raven is an idle only lake. catch and release on lmb. nice sized bass. and gators. also has hydrilla, pads, timber. weekends the place fills up pretty good....folks taking the kids swimmin and camping and stuff. nice bike trails. have fun!!!
