Gas MPG is less than a full size V8 pickup, even with factory size tires
Its basically a 2 seater (Unless you get the 4 door model, which in my opinion isn't a true Jeep anymore)
Can't haul anything inside them, not even a one piece fishing rod.
With all that said, I wouldn't mind having one for myselfThey just have the cool factor.

Aren't the new loaded ones like $60K? Absolutely crazy for a Jeep with half the capabilities of a full size half ton

you mean mid size trucks. A jeep gladiator sport with tow pack is right around 7500 lbs towing if I remember correct. Most all half tons are in the 10k to 12.5k range
maybe for a stripped down version, but the higher end versions won't be that high
stripped down version of my truck can tow 10k, but the loaded out version I have is 9k
