    Opinions, thoughts, concerns, etc.

    Ladies and Gents,

If you, the Champ experts, could click on the link and take a look at this boat and give me your opinions, thoughts, concerns, whatevers on the boat, the price, that Godawfully big motor, etc., I would appreciate it.

I'm looking at making a jump from my 06 187DC into a little sumpin' bigger. The only thing I don't like about the 187 is that it is a bit narrow through the nose. I don't know if the 203's are sized the same.

Take a gander and opine away. I appreciate it.

The price had better be way negotiable. That is too high

I agree, way to high. I was interested in the 2005 198 in Springfield too. It sold in less than 12 hours though.

The beam on the 203 is the same 90" as on the 187. However, since it is longer, naturally there is more room up there.

Calling it 21 ft is a bit of a stretch, since it is actually 20'3". So is the price a bit of a stretch...

Now THAT is way low for an 05 198!!!! I would never let mine go for that! In fact, I would never let mine go, period!!!

Nice and sounds like the boat to buy except, he needs to be more realistic on a price. 40 hrs sounds good, and all the rest is a plus, but, that price Keep shopping.

Yep. Talked to the guy and he said he had buyer waiting on his front door with cash at 8am the morning after he posted it. I knew it wouldn't sit long at that price.

Thanks all for your replies. What would be a more realistic price? I haven't been able to find an apples to apples comparison yet.

I checked NADA and it was in the $22,000 neighborhood...but that was with a 225.

He does say the price is negotiable! He may just be shooting the moon to see what he can get,,kinda like the Ranger ad that somebody posted on the lounge yesterday,,if that Ranger is worth 82K then that 203 is way underpriced

    Well...it IS a Ranger. 82K is probably a steal!

There is an 05 203 listed here on BBC for $19,500. That is one heck of a difference regardless of add-ons!

Price is way to high for me, I dont like payments.

The 76lb tolling motor is a little small for my liking.

Bet it would haul the mail with that 300.
