I hooked up my Lowrance 520 to my ETEC for engine data and found that my 2007 ETEC HO is running about 165 degrees. The 2006 Optimax that I had previously never got above 135 or so.

Spec is 160 +/- 10 degrees. Temp is right where you want it for best fuel efficiency and good plug life.

I have a new 2007 225 ETEC HO/201 STRATOS and I also have a 520 in my boat. Please explain to me how you can connect to get motor temperature on your GPS/Depth finder. Still Learning about this rig.
My dealer connected mine a few weeks ago to my LMS-332 NMEA network. Your dealer will need to order you a cable from Evinrude for the EMM connection and add another T-Connector to the NMEA network and your all set from there. Simple as that......
