Are you talking about the idle screw or mixture screw? What year and model is it?

I dont know how much you turn them out but i will say becarefull when you screw them all the way in.If you turn them to tight you will mushroom head the ends of them and take the chance of tearing up more.If you get a chance replace them with brass ones.
heh, if you turn them in to tight u break off the damn needle point.. .lol... did thatmix screws abu... Fish where might one get the brass ones ?
I dont know i would say your local marine shop. When i had my carbs rebuilt they told me when i adjusted the other ones i messed them up and almost ruined my carbs they said.Im not the most mechanically inclined so i dont know if its true or not. They said the stock ones were junk basically and the brass ones were much stronger.Oh yea i thing they charged me like 8 bucks a piece too.But if they last its worth it.Let me know if you get some, what they ran you or if you here something different.
were in the manual does it give you that adjustment? I cant find it??
