    Blowing fuses

I'm blowing the 25 amp fuse to my reverse light - surge solenoid on my trailer. How do I check the solenoid for a short?

I that my meter and check the power wire to ground, it show continuity. The power is disconnected.

Follow the blue wire and make sure its not touching the frame or any other wires. Look for worn insulation on the wires. Look on the tow vehicle too.

    Re: Blowing fuses (21XDC)

Well I might have it I guess we'll see, I never really saw anything wrong, it was originally wired to the right reverse light, I wired it to the left side. I backed up several times hard worked every time and didn't blow the fuse.

    Thanks for the response Mike
