1994 201 Champ re-powered with a 250 HO G2 E250LHAFA 05438419
Personally, I would leave the steel reeds in it.... Got a guy here at work that learned the hard way what happens when it lean sneezes and pops one.... as for the other stuff, need to check the drain screws on the carbs to make sure the have the tit on them to prevent the main jet from backing out. If not, you will need 6 of those... I am sure Champ or Seahorse can add to the things I miss...

+1 put them in mine and could not tell any difference from the steel ones,it has to be tuned for the fiber ones or you will replace them everytime it sneezes so i hear, may check chris carsons fiber ones too if your hell bent on installing them.
i was always told that the boyseen reeds was better incase they came apart and it would not tear anything up little better gas mpg and also mabye 300 more rpm but i need to no more about the tnt thanks genttleman
No to the increase of 300 rpms. I have only seen one motor failure due to Reeds breaking with the steel ones, but it's your money and time, put em in!![]()

I rebuilt my 200hp over then fall and installed a set of chris carson reeds. They seem to work fine but my motor had some wear issues before the rebuild so I can't verify the gain. I don know that chris is a hell of a nice guy and very smart when it comes to the old rudes. If you buy a set directly from him you can call and ask for advise and info and he will answer question you might have.![]()
im talking about the jets changing the jets for the loopers
