Guys I am looking at a 392V with a 1994 200 Venom on the back. Can any give me a heads up or opinions on this motor? It's got a new power head and rebuilt LU. I assume that it is a thirsty as my 150 FS![]()

Pretty bullet proof motor. You should change out the #2 carb HS jet and change the drain plugs to the new style. Yep does like the gas.
is this the same for a venom 225. mine has a new power head. would that have been fixed on mine

so the drain plugs should have a "tit" on them. what size is the jet I should change to? thanks again for the help Fred. oh compression should be around 105?
Comp sounds good. You'll have to pull the HS jet to check the stamped mark on the side of it. If it is a 65D then go to a 67D and yes the drain plugs should have the tit on them to prevent the HS jets from backing out of their seats and causing a lean out condition.

No way for me to know you'll have to check it out for yourself.
