Although this applies to ALL jackplates- just a quick reminder to those of you running plates to REGULARLY CHECK FOR ADEQUATE TORQUE ON <u>ALL</u> JACKPLATE FASTNERS.

With the Detweilers, be sure to check ALL allen head screws also (including the ones at the top and bottom of the cylinder or tube slides)- AND the four screws on each side HIDDEN under the sliding plates.

We've caught a few of them recently that were "loose" (one recently that was missing)...

Remember- MAINTENANCE (including ensuring appropriate torque for ALL engine mounting fasters) is the OWNER'S responsibility.

Good idea to ensure this is part of (at least) your Annual Maintenance Plan.
