I have a 2001 ZX225 and just discovered that I have a livewell pumpout installed. However, when I switch the valve and turn it one, it is basically useless. The water barely makes it above the boat and most just runs off the back. Ideas?

Waitin for answers myself. Have an 03 ZX250 and have the same issue. The only thing that I can tell is that my hoses for the pumpout are twice the size of the regular other livewell pump hoses. Im sure that the decrease pressure is the answer. I will stick around myself to see if anyone has a better response.
you can do 1 of 2 things: install 700 gph pumps or get some hose that will fit inside of the pump out fittings at the back of the boat and shove it down in there and cut it off flush. the smaller diameter of that hose will make the water shoot out better.
What I did was find some handlebar plugs for a bicycle, (I had a few laying around the house). I then drilled a smaller (3/8" +/-) The plug fit in my pumpout hole and increrases the pressure coming out. I get about an 18" stream when pumping out. I even color matched them to my boat.
